Job Description

We are recruiting for Software Administrator in Ottawa, ON and/or St. John’s, NL. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Configure, maintain and manage AVEVA AIM environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design, manufacturing, operations, and maintenance teams to support AVEVA AIM solutions.
  • Liaise with external engineering contractors, vendors, and customers for seamless integration.
  • Analyze operational requirements, assess data, and optimize business processes.
  • Document methods, workflows, and training materials; provide user training and support.

 Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical diploma or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience.
  • Experience in MS Windows Server administration.
  • Strong MS SQL administration/scripting skills.
  • Strong network administration skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Batch/PowerShell.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders (includes user support and training).
  • Ability to plan, implement, test, document, and troubleshoot system integrations or upgrades.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified AVEVA AIM (NET) Administrator.
  • Proficiency with related AVEVA products such as AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA E3D, and AVEVA Information Standards Manager (ISM).
  • Knowledge of Information Management standards and best practices (ISO 15926, CFIHOS, ISO 10303, )
  • Strong HTML and JavaScript skills.
  • Knowledge of XML/XSLT languages.
  • Experience with MS Internet Information Services (IIS).
